Why did you choose this location?

I chose this location because it was easily accessible and I was able to get things set up very quickly as the filming location was on hand 24/7.

What did you like about this location?

I liked its accessibility because it made reshoots easy and I was able to carry out a photoshoot for my digipak and organise it quickly. It was an advantageous location because I am so familiar with it; meaning I know the type of camera shots, movements and angles that could be achieved on site.

Anything you didn't like?

I didn't like some of the shots in terms of Mise-en-scene because they contained items from around that house that took away from the verisimilitude.

The Park

Why did you choose this location?

I chose this location because I felt I could achieve some effective nature shots of the trees, streams and lake to juxtapose with the fake extravagant lifestyle my artiste conveys as his star image. Moreover I wanted to film as many potential avenues that I may take the video down as possible so that I was organised and had lots of footage in editing to choose from.

What did you like about this location?

I liked some of the shots I got from here but after shooting here, I changed my concept slightly so I am not sure wether my footage here will be used in the final cut.

Anything you didn't like?

I didn't like the amount of time I had to spend at this location  because of the public. I had to ensure people were clear of the filming area before I could film whatever I wanted to without interference but this was hard to do because it's a public place and everyone has a right be go wherever they want.

The Fields

Why did you choose this location?

I chose this location because it is quite secluded and I feel it reflected the characters feelings of loneliness. Furthermore I wanted to use it as an opportunity to try out my new equipment; I decided to try and get some bike shots but these are unusable because the footage is too shaky.

What did you like about this location?

I liked the fact it was secluded because it also enabled me to sit down, listen to my song and try and depict the story the artiste is telling us which gave some inspiration for some other ideas which I later tried out.

Anything you didn't like?

I didn't like the fact all the surfaces were uneven which made my footage quite shaky whilst the camera was mounted onto the bike.

The Beach

Why did you choose this location?

This location came to mind after watching some music videos such as Coldplay's video for their song 'Yellow'. I also decided to use this location because I was staying away near here and there was an opportunity to get some establishing/master shots.

What did you like about this location?

I liked this location because it enabled me to get some cool shots, although not all of them will be used due to the sheer velocity of footage I have from all of these locations.

Anything you didn't like?

I didn't like the fact this location is about 2 hours away because it made it hard to reach and made any reshoots difficult. Moreover, filming here was quite hard as the weather conditions were harsh at times and the weather was bitter.

The Pool

Why did you choose this location?

I had recently purchased an action camera which turned out to be water proof; I wanted to try this out and in the process it occurred to me that I could film some under water shots which if done correctly could look effective in the final cut.

What did you like about this location?

This location is my Nan and Grandads house which made it easily accessible to me so reshoots were quite easy to organise. Moreover I am really pleased with some of the shots I filmed and I feel I will be able to use them effectively in the final cut.

Anything you didn't like?

I didn't like how tiresome it was to obtain the footage because I had to attempt each shot from various angles multiple times whilst being clothed in the pool which fatigued me after a while.
